How to Make Chukauni

Ingredients

Boiled potato cut in dice

Thin curd, if it is thick add some water

Long cut onion

Turmeric

Salt

Fried and grounded mustard

Lemon

Mustard oil

Ginger garlic paste

Fenugreek seed

Red pepper

Fried grounded sesame seeds.

Green and dried red chilly

Red chilly powder, if you don’t like spicy don’t add it.

Method

Add curd in a bowl

Add as much curd as potatoes.

Add potatoes

Add onion

Add salt as per your taste.

Spoon red chilly powder

Spoon-fried and grounded sesame seed

Fried grounded mustard

Red pepper

Half a spoon of ginger garlic paste

Roughly chopped green chilly

Lemon

If you want it more tangy then add more lemon

Heat the oil in a pan

Add fenugreek seed

Add dried red chilly

Stir it

Turn the heat off after the seeds turn black, add turmeric

Take it out and add it all into the bowl

Mix it well

Now Chukauni is ready

Gundruk Bhatmas Sandheko

Ingredients

Gundruk- 1 Bowl

Garlic (Chopped)-3-4 pieces

Onion (Chopped)-1med. size

Ginger (Chopped)

Turmeric Powder-1/2 tsp

Green Coriander

(Chopped

Chilli Flakes- as required

Green Chilli pieces

Method

Soak the gundruk in hot water for 15-20 minutes.

Squeeze the gundruk lightly to take out all the water.

Heat oil in a pan and fry soybean (Bhatmas)

Fry until light brown and add turmeric powder.

Add Bhatmas in the squeezed gundruk bowl.

Heat oil and fry chopped garlic and ginger.

Roast Tomatoes

Make paste of tomatoes

Add tomato paste into gundruk bowl.

Put all the other ingredients into the bowl

Heat oil and fry chopped garlic and ginger.

Fry until light brown and add turmeric powder.

Make tadka and mix well.
